The Tunnel of Truth

Patches and I have seen a lot of things from the windows of the motorhome, but today we saw something new: the inside of a mountain. We arrived at Florida Caverns State Park in Marianna, and the humans took us straight to the Bluff Trail. Now, usually, trails go over things, but this one had a surprise. We found a "Tunnel Cave"—a 100-foot limestone passage cut right through the bluff. Patches, being the Camp Boss, did a full structural integrity sniff at the entrance. Once she gave the "all clear," I led the way. It was cool, dark, and smelled like ancient dust and hidden squirrels. It’s a tight squeeze for a human, but for a Lab and a Heeler? It was like our own private VIP hallway. If you’re a dog who likes adventure but hates the sun, this is your spot.
